Facilities Operations and Services has worked diligently to identify ADA deficiencies in our New
Brunswick facilities. Projects are initiated from within the university
community and are then brought to the Access Committee for funding and
approval, a committee that includes FOS representatives. Projects must be
related to building improvements such as ramps, automated doors, restroom
renovations, curb cuts and sidewalk improvements, and must include the
following criteria:

Mobility
impairment to buildings and primary function areas of buildings (building
entrances, offices, classrooms, library or restrooms)

Access to
restrooms and interior path of travel
·
Signage,
phones, water fountain improvements
