Energy Management

The Energy Management System was installed over 20 years ago on the Busch/Livingston Campus with the intended purpose of alerting Facilities Department personnel of equipment failures.

Today, the Energy Management System monitors all New Brunswick campus buildings. It not only detects failures, but it also allows for auto-shutdown of equipment and auto-setback of temperatures during off-peak hours. The system offers the university significant energy savings.
