The Building Coordinator is a volunteer who acts
as a primary liaison between the office of Facilities Maintenance Services
(FMS) and the building Occupants.
What Makes A Successful Building Coordinator….

You care about the physical environment of
your building

You are friendly and know who comes and goes
in your building

You are willing to work closely with the FMS
staff

You have willingly taken the responsibility of
calling in maintenance concerns or problems into the FMS
Service Call Center

You don’t have a maintenance background, but
you have an interest and are familiar with maintenance terminology

You are familiar with the FMS organizational
