 What is My Role as a Building Coordinator?

The Building Coordinator is a volunteer who acts as a primary liaison between the office of Facilities Maintenance Services (FMS) and the building Occupants.

What Makes A Successful Building Coordinator….

  • You care about the physical environment of your building
  • You are friendly and know who comes and goes in your building
  • You are willing to work closely with the FMS staff
  • You have willingly taken the responsibility of calling in maintenance concerns or problems into the FMS Service Call Center
  • You don’t have a maintenance background, but you have an interest and are familiar with maintenance terminology
  • You are familiar with the FMS organizational hierarchy, our standards and our services
